Notice: Churches Merge. Calvary Baptist Church, 830 West 1200 South, Tremonton and Fellowship Baptist Church, formerly at 862 South Main, Brigham City, are happy to announce their merger on April 15, 2012.

After the death of Pastor David George in November 2011, Calvary Baptist was left without a pastor. The church has been diligently been seeking the Lord's direction in finding a new pastor, but all efforts have failed. The church has been in a steady decline and as of April 1, 2012 had only one family, and four adult members left. This made it extremely difficult to find a pastor for the church because it cannot financially support a man. Different men, mostly laymen, have been filling the pulpit since December.

On April 1st, Cooper Abrams, the founder and former pastor was voted by the membership of Calvary Baptist Church to be recalled as their pastor. Further, Fellowship Baptist Church, voted to merge with Calvary, in Tremonton. Pastor Abrams and his wife Carolyn have moved back to Tremonton and are pleased to be once again ministering at Calvary Baptist Church and living in Tremonton.

Calvary Baptist Church is a traditional Independent Baptist church that patterns itself after the New Testament example.
